About Us

We are a passionate team of professionals who have dedicated our lives to supporting families affected by autism and other developmental challenges. More than just experts in our fields, we are advocates, educators, and, above all, compassionate individuals who understand the complexities of this journey.

We are here to provide more than just support; we are here to equip you with the tools and insights you need to make the best decisions for your child’s health and future. By bridging the gap between science and everyday parenting, we aim to create a community where families feel confident, capable, and empowered to nurture their children in the best way possible.

With expertise spanning psychology, biomedical interventions, nutritional interventions, and behavioral sciences, we take a holistic approach to care, ensuring that every child and family receives tailored, science-backed, and empathetic support. But what truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to the families we serve. We see the challenges, we understand the struggles, and we are here — every step of the way — to guide, empower, and uplift.

Dita Chapman, MSc., BCBA

I am the founder of Pediatric Interventions (Pi). I specialize in functional medicine focused on children with autism and special needs, and I am also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

In my practice, I combine biomedical approaches with evidence-based behavioral strategies. After more than 17 years of clinical experience, I realized that traditional therapeutic methods are often not enough unless we also address the state of the body—especially digestion, nutrition, detoxification, and the balance of the immune and hormonal systems.

That’s why I turned to functional medicine. Studying the connection between the gut, brain, immune system, and hormonal balance opened up entirely new possibilities for identifying the root causes of developmental challenges.

Thanks to this holistic perspective, I’m now able to help families more effectively and with deeper, lasting results—always individually and with full respect for each child. Functional medicine isn’t just a different approach—it’s truly detective work. Addressing symptoms alone is never enough, because they’re just the tip of the iceberg. Every child comes with their own story, and it’s our job to uncover what lies beneath the surface. We investigate developmental history—starting from pregnancy, dietary patterns, emotional and family background, and often the child’s physical environment, including air quality, chemical exposure in the home, and contaminated water. These less visible factors, including substances that disrupt hormonal balance, can profoundly affect development, digestion, and both immune and endocrine function. This kind of in-depth analysis requires time, precision, and complex reasoning—but it allows us to support children and families in a truly meaningful and lasting way.

I’ve had the opportunity to work with families across many parts of the world—including more than 10 years in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines, and Japan. In Bangladesh, opened a clinic, focusing on early autism screening and intensive interventions. In the Czech Republic and Slovakia, I led the first professionals to achieve international BCBA certification and continue to collaborate with families and professionals in developing services and educational programs.
